UFund Services
Ufund is a UDS Service enabling you to get your funds to the charity of your choice in Uganda, reliably and efficiently. If you pay UK Income Tax, we will claim gift aid and send 113% of your gift to the beneficiary. UDS has 7 years experience of sending funds to Uganda
We handle £150,000 a year for over 150 individuals or groups in the UK, benefiting thousands in Uganda. Funds are sent monthly to UDS, Uganda, who have a most excellent record of honesty, efficiency and transparency. The Kampala office deposits the money in the bank account of the recipient who is informed of the arrival of funds.
Funds are donated by individuals or raised by a group working together. Money is raised by direct appeals or events such as sponsored cycle rides, walks, jam making, raffle etc
Some projects receive contributions form many individuals, often giving a small amount monthly by Standing Order. These funds are held in an account dedicated to that particular project. Sums are sent to Uganda, regularly or occasionally, on the instruction of the project correspondent in the UK.
UDS DOES NOT UNDERTAKE FUNDRAISING FOR PROJECTS OTHER THAN ITS OWN.
Many people send money for school fees and others support schools, clinics and other development projects.
